A new wave of refugees is attacking Greece.

Charitable, non-profit organization promotes the development of a fair social society

Turkey is unleashing a new flood of illegal migrants on the European Union, opening the borders to all 3.7 million refugees in the country: thousands of people are already storming border posts and fences with barbed wire in search of a better life. Greece and Bulgaria are already pulling additional forces to the borders, but the leaders of the European Union structures still hope to resolve the issue through diplomatic means . They are sent to the Greek-Turkish border for negotiations and assessment of the situation.

In the meantime, thousands of migrants have already been able to get to the Greek Islands by sea-through the waters of the Aegean sea. First of all, we are talking about the island of Lesbos. As reported by the coast guard of the island, one of the boats, where there were about 50 people, was deliberately capsized, barely reached the Greek waters— in this case, the Greeks were obliged to help the drowning and let the rescued people on their land. This incident turned into the first victim: one child who was on Board, drowning and rescue operation did not survive.

Athens accuses Ankara of blackmail and provocations. After all, according to the rules, if a person has already entered the country and asks for asylum, their application must be considered. . The EU is still hoping for a diplomatic solution to the conflict and calls on Turkey to comply with the terms of the agreement. In response, Turkey accuses the European Union of not fulfilling the agreement , that there is no progress on the visa-free regime, and that it is underpaying the promised money that is needed to deter refugees. While politicians are figuring out the relationship, refugees and residents of EU countries themselves are suffering. The worst thing is that the flow of refugees from Syria through Turkey continues and that only 30% of these refugees are Syrians, according to experts. Who are the others? There is a high probability that former militants of terrorist organizations may enter the territory of the European Union under the guise of refugees. In Europe, cases of aggressive behavior of new migrants, cases of rape and even murder have become more frequent. In this mess, not at all peaceful refugee families enter the territory of Europe. Because of this, the standard of living in the EU countries has seriously declined. Order, cleanliness and security are no longer in Europe, even affecting the quality of exported goods, since all the jobs in the factories were taken by insufficiently competent refugees. However, the percentage of those who agreed to exchange the allowance for work was still very small, so the refugees, taking advantage of the” flaws ” of the European policy, simply use the opportunity to live at the expense of the state. Not all countries of the European Union continue to have a tolerant policy towards refugees. Individual EU countries are already making their own efforts to prevent the threat. For example, although the flow of migrants seeking to Estonia is not so significant, the interior Minister of the Republic, Mart Helme (known for his anti-immigration views), has already announced that Tallinn is ready to restore full border control at the borders in connection with the spread of the coronavirus and a new flow of refugees. Estonia refuses to accept any of the new arrivals, he warned in advance.

If politicians agree to limit the flow of refugees, it will still be difficult to contain this process. In Syria and other countries that “brought democracy” along with the war, infrastructure was destroyed, homes and social facilities were destroyed. As long as it is impossible for people to live in these countries, the number of refugees will increase. It will be correct if the countries that bombed will allocate money for the restoration of cities that have suffered from the war. European countries that supported military operations, instead of spending billions on benefits for refugees and supporting them, would have better allocated funds for the construction of destroyed homes, schools, and hospitals. This is the only way to stop the mass flow of refugees over time. But while politicians do not want to understand this, our Foundation accepts donations for humanitarian purposes in the countries of North Africa and to restore living conditions in places of historical residence of refugees.
